
About Jeffrey B. Kistler, M.A., LPCC.
Jeff Kistler was born and raised in Perrysburg, Ohio, where he attended Perrysburg High School. Jeff attended Miami University after finishing high school, and while at Miami, he met Jesus and his life was radically changed. After graduating from Miami of Ohio, Jeff attended the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He then spent the next 20+ years working as a Youth, Associate, and Head Pastor in Missouri and Ohio.
Jeff acquired his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2010. He believes in a holistic approach to counseling that integrates Body, Soul, and Spirit. His approach considers every aspect of a person when approaching sessions making sure to look at all facets of life to find the most suitable counseling for his clients. Jeff is a man of great joy who focuses on optimism, encouragement, and hope during his sessions. As someone that enjoys working with a broad spectrum of people, Jeff delights in helping clients find freedom and reclaim their lives. He prefers to focus on people’s strength with a firm belief that healing and growth are attainable for everyone.

Jeffrey B Kistler has been a Perrysburg native his whole life and this is where his passions lie. Jeff started Freedom Found Counseling Services as a way to help bring healing to the area. As a local business we are dedicated to the people of Perrysburg, Maumee, Toledo, and the surrounding area.
Our Facilities
After moving into our new facility in 2019, Freedom Found Counseling Services has been able to create a private and peaceful environment for our clients. Located at 1715 Indian Wood Circle, Suite 200 in Maumee, the office is only a short drive from any part of Northern Wood County and Lucas County. Our Community
Founded in 1816 and named in honor of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, Perrysburg was settled along the Maumee River. Perhaps it is best known as being the site of William Henry Harrison's valiant defense of Fort Meigs in the War of 1812. Today, Perrysburg is a small family focused town of about 18,000 people that is home to award winning schools and a historic downtown area.
